OKX frequently hosts promotional events and reward campaigns for its users. Many of these special events are exclusive to affiliate invitees – in other words, you must register through a specific referral link to qualify. Using the referral link SJCOINTRADE (or clicking the provided invitation URL) when signing up ensures you are tagged as an affiliate invitee, making you eligible for these promotions. This guide will walk you through registering with the referral link and joining the events.
How to Register with the Referral Link
To qualify for any OKX promotional event, you must create your OKX account through the special referral link. Follow these steps to register:
- Step 1: Click the referral link: https://www.okx.com/join/SJCOINTRADE. This will take you to the OKX sign-up page with the invite code
SJCOINTRADEautomatically applied. - Step 2: Fill out the registration form with your email (or phone number) and create a password. Make sure the invite code is present (it should be if you used the link).
- Step 3: Complete the sign-up process and verify your email/phone. Once your account is created, proceed to complete identity verification (KYC). OKX requires new users to complete KYC (know your customer) verification to be eligible for rewards in the campaigns.
Note: If you already have an OKX account that was not created via this referral, you will not be considered an “affiliate invitee” and thus may not qualify for certain new-user exclusive events. It’s best for new users to sign up fresh using the referral link to avoid missing out on rewards.
How to Participate in Promotional Events
After registering through the referral link and completing KYC, you can join the ongoing promotional events. Participation typically involves two key actions:
- Enroll in the Event: Navigate to the event’s page (for example, via the links provided or through the OKX Campaign Center) and click the “Join Now” button on that page. This officially enrolls you in the campaign. Always ensure the button changes to “Enrolled” or similar confirmation.
- Complete the Event Tasks: Each promotion has specific requirements (such as making a deposit, executing trades of a certain volume, launching a trading bot, etc.). You need to fulfill these requirements within the event period to earn the rewards. The tasks and rewards vary by event – some offer bonus crypto for making your first trade, others might enter you into prize pools for trading certain assets.
Once you have joined an event and completed its tasks, any eligible rewards will be credited according to the event’s distribution schedule (some rewards are instant, while others are given after the event period).
